Interfaith Vigil for Victims of ICE

  • BMDC 29th St. and 3rd Brooklyn, NY (map)

Please join your fellow St. JME members at an interfaith vigil at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where over 200 persons are being detained by ICE. This is a weekly vigil hosted by Indivisible Brooklyn and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Bay Ridge. It takes place every Tuesday at 29th St. and 3rd Ave. (in Brooklyn) from 6-7pm. The vigil includes singing, reflections on current events, and prayer. Let’s stand together to show our support and solidarity with our neighbors. This is a weekly event, but we’ve decided to go as a group on the third Tuesday of each month.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Kristin Mensing.
