Prospect Hill

Prospect Hill Senior Services Center is funded by the NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) and sponsored by St. John-St. Matthew Emanuel Lutheran Church located at 283 Prospect Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

The senior center has been serving the community for well over 40 years by providing a welcoming environment for seniors. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm. Enjoy a freshly prepared, nutritious breakfast and lunch prepared daily by our seasoned chefs.

Stay active and energized with our Chair Yoga, Cardio, Tai Chi exercise, dancing, quilting, chorus, crafts, health education, and field trips.

Our mission is to provide older adults with a safe and comfortable space to socialize, and to maintain their health and vibrancy. Our members range in age from the newly retired in their 60s to people in their mid-90s and beyond.

We are a home away from home, where comfort and safety are priorities, and we welcome people from all backgrounds.

The center is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm, serving breakfast and lunch. There are numerous opportunities to become involved in this community.
